I bought the Mermaid ceramic bowl a couple weeks ago during the sale on all the ceramic bowls. It is so beautiful! I looks wonderful on my red 4 1/2 qt tilt head Kitchenaid mixer. The bowl arrived within two days from placing the order.

This bowl is absolutely beautiful. The detail and the design of it are perfect. However, the packaging is very deceptive. It pictures a bowl with both a handle and a pour spout with the same mermaid lace design, this bowl has neither. It would benefit greatly from both. So, if pour spouts and handles are important to you, I'd recommend trying to purchase this in store where you can be certain of what you're getting, because even if the listing has the pour spout on the box, it does not mean it will be on the product itself. It fits perfectly on my mixer (the max at five quarts) and works well for a variety of dishes. I prefer to use this over the glass bowl when I'm setting the table, particularly with side dishes like mashed potatoes. I don't feel the need to transfer it to a serving dish because the bowl is too pretty to ignore.

I absolutely love my new mixing bowl! It is the perfect size for mixing up any sort of dough. It is easy to handle. It is beautiful too! I will be purchasing several more for my daughters & daughter in law.

Loved this design online and when it arrives I was even more impressed. It is pretty light and I was worried it might scratch with use but after us wind the whisk attachment and mixer I saw no signs of scratching in the bowl. Fits right into the mixer we already have and was able to use this and my other one for a cake mixer that required separate whipping and mixing. I also really like how this looks in my kitchen so the metal one will stay stored and this will be my counter piece! Definitely a good addition

Well built mixing bowl. Great capacity and easy to clean. Does well in the dishwasher. Wife loves the pattern and the look of the bowl. Used it 4 or 5 times so far and seems to be holding up well.

This is a great mixing bowl and nice to have the ceramic option. Fits nicely into the KitchenAid mixer. My only ding on this product is that the actual bowl does not have a handle or pouring lip like the picture on the packaging box. Therefore, make sure to look at the actual product and that it's what you want.

Not only is this bowl useful but also stylish! The design on the bowl is a nice touch. It changes the whole look of my KitchenAid Mixer. I've already received serveal compliments from my guest here at home. I love that it can be heated or chilled for whatever recipe I'm working on. It's thick and feels very durable.
It's such a nice looking bowl I often use it for serving.

I knew this bowl was kind of pretty in the pictures, but I wasn't prepared for how absolutely GORGEOUS it is in 'real life'! It feels as lovely as it looks, too, and the fact that it is so versatile and functional on top of all that pretty...wow. I love how it looks on my counter, on my mixer, or on the table. And I also love that it can go into the freezer, the oven, and/or the microwave! It just makes things easier if you need butter or chocolate melted or something. It IS kind of tall and doesn't fit very easily into my microwave (I have to remove the turning plate for it to fit), but it's cool that it is durable to withstand extreme temperatures. And it's sooo much prettier than the stainless steel mixing bowl I already had.
I do kind of miss a handle and a pouring spout, I have to say. Of course, this wouldn't be the beautiful piece of ceramic art that it is if it had them, so that's cool. Without the handle, though, it's a little bit heavy and a bit unwieldly and awkward to handle, but the 'mermaid lace' textured design makes it easy enough to hold on to while pouring batter out. (See how brilliant that is?? Beauty AND functionality in design!)
One last note (literally): This bowl has been sitting out on my counter for a while now, and several times a day, as I pass it, I can't help but flick it with my thumb and middle finger like it's a bell. It has a BEAUTIFUL sonorous sound! :)

This is a beautifully designed white ceramic bowl that fits in the kitchen aid! Makes a lovely addition to the counter in a classy way. It has a five year warranty against chips because the ceramic is infused with titanium! I didn't even know that was possible. The instructions y'all about possibly having to adjust the height of the stand mixer to accommodate the bowl, but I did not have that issue. It's also nice because it can go from freezer to mixer to oven which is awesome.
Downside- no spout (not a deal breaker since my metal one doesn't either) and no handle ... the no handle is a real bummer. Especially if you are using this in the oven and taking it in and out with hot pads and no real way to hold on to it. So four stars instead of five for lack of handle. Otherwise I love it.

Is there anyway to make the Kitchen Aid Better? How about adding an amazing beautiful 5 Quart White Mermaid Lace Ceramic Bowl. Yes and Yes. I was just blown away at how this ceramic bowl was able to truly dress up this amazing work horse of a machine.

This white bowl is almost too pretty to use! I love my kitchen aid mixer so any accessory for it is great. This bowl can be chilled, heated, whatever you need! Its nonstick so whatever you mix in it shouldn't be a problem.

This bowl is beautiful! Very nice compliment to my mixer as it sits on my counter full-time and this is much more aesthetically pleasing than the metal bowl. The texture on the outside makes the bowl easier to grip with less risk of dropping it, but I wish it had a handle like the glass and metal bowls. Also love that it can be used in the over, freezer, microwave, and dishwasher!

I got the 5Quart White Mermaid Lace Ceramic Bowl for my KitchenAid mixer. I absolutely love it! Prior to getting the Mermaid Lace bowl the mixer stayed underneath the counter. Once I put the ceramic bowl on it and showed my husband, it has a new home on display on the kitchen counter. The bowl fits perfectly on the mixer and locks in just like the stainless steel bowl with a handle. It's very think and sturdy so I'm not afraid that it will break easily. I would definitely recommend this bowl.

This is a gorgeous bowl. The designing on it is very deep and brilliant. The only thing it is missing is a pour spout, and maby a handle. This would make it easier to work with liquid items. Currently, it is only good for things like doughs that will be taken out by hand. Other than those things it is very nice.

This bowl is beautiful! Looks so much better on my counter than the silver one that came with my mixer. It looks so good, that I use it for potlucks and family dinners. I want to note that it is quite heavy since it's ceramic.

Love that it locks into my kitchen aid mixer...the mermaid design gives it a sophisticated look that compliments my mixer in every way...I can use it in microwave...oven...dishwasher and freezer as well...i just love it...Only thing missing which i would have loved that this one had is a handle...this one does not have a handle...other than that it is great..

I got this and love it. The 5 quart lace mermaid texture gives an added style and dimension. The bowl is heavy duty. It has a non skid bottom so I don't need to be afraid of it moving. It is a large enough capacity bowl to make multiple batches at one time. Perfect addition to my KitchenAid

Love that you can put in the oven to melt butter or chocolate before mixing. The design on the bowl is gorgeous! Works perfectly with the mixer and the size bowl is huge. I do wish it had a handle making it easier to transfer.

This is made very well. I love the mermaid pattern on the outside of the bowl. The look is very elegant. It has little inward bevels so that it clicks into place, and doesn't move. This piece is such an awesome add to your kitchenaid because of its versatility. You are able to mix in it, put it in the over or microwave, and it can also go in the freezer. One bowl for all your recipes needs. This is dishwasher safe for easy clean up! This is the best kitchen add anyone could ask for!!!
